I was going to go to the local Pumpkin fest next month but there's a wine fest and beer fest that I could get paid for. The gratification of pumpkin fest would be to enter the bake off, drink hot cider and support local. Buuuut, I've been having a ton of fun when I actually work events rather than attend them.
It's all up to my bosses I guess.
I really did want to surprise people with edible pumpkin look alike cakes. But I can always do that at work for no reason lol.
I don't know if anyone knew this but there's a difference between the body of a power lifter and a bodybuilder. Before I get into it... I want to remind everyone that to me it's a hobby. As in, I am not a professional.
I used to consider myself a power lifter. But these days I guess I'm somewhere in between? Building my body. The powerlifter in my refuses to do cardio though.
Funny story... about a month ago after work I noticed my upper belly hurt. I thought maybe it was a bruise from leaning over large baskets and grabbing laundry from the bottom. Upon further examination, I saw no discoloration, so I touched the area. I felt a roundish bump. I panicked. For 5 minutes in the bathroom at home.
Then I bravely asked the hubby... "do you think its cancer? Feel here "
Till he figured it was from all the working out. He said, you've got abs!
And I calmed down and said, you know what, you're right as a flexed my core. I was starting to get abs! Then I kept flexing in amazement lol.
Funny how we can jump to conclusions so fast... at least I can laugh about it.
I don't know if I've ever written about my new job? It's complicated but I started in July and transferred to the department I really wanted a few weeks ago. Which is a looooooong story short.
I'm a dishwasher now. But it's at a very high end vegan/vegetarian restaurant. Today was a good day because all weekend I had been practicing garnishes and they really liked my caramel design. I don't have a picture cause idk... I guess I've been distracted but they used it and I'm proud!
To any bodybuilders out there, which machines should I avoid at the gym? I primarily use the machines because I don't have them at home.
At home I either rest or do isometric exercises, when I'm not breaking out the dumbbells. I fully believe in isometric exercises because the little things count in keeping even. And they're easy to do when "chilling".

Avoid them all. Go for full body workouts for best benefit.
That's so vague and I kinda suggested I already try to do full body. Do you know which machines I'm talking about?
Forgot to mention I don't do cardio. They're a waste of time.
Endurance vs. Going up in what you're lifting. And I'd rather do the latter.
Rotary torso for example is something I liked right away because I could lift a lot of weight fast but I read it's not good for your spine and I kinda stopped. That's what my entry is about.

Long story short, my phone completely died. I needed to switch the phone company I was using. And that shit took a week and 2 days. I don't own shit after that, no computer, no laptop... etc, so I got a tablet. We both got new phones.
Here is a treat... the first picture taken. I only used black and white because it's much easier than tanning spray for the highlights lol.
These gains were because every morning before work, I was stuck with nothing to do before I started. So I used the gym at work for a month.
Ironically someone jealous on Facebook reported it last night and it got taken down for "extreme violence". Luckily I fought to have it put back and Facebook said it didn't violate community standards. In other words, haters gonna hate.

I was arm bar-ed by a random girl in marine park junior high school for, supposedly, pissing off her friend. She was a tiny chinese girl and two men teachers had to pull her off lol
I think I'm addicted to working out now lol. Instead of taking my lunch break for lunch, I took 15 out of the 30 minutes to hit the gym there. xD The other 15 I took to change my uniform fast, go to the bathroom and stuff food down my throat.
Yep there's a problem lol
